Biblical Hebrew 1 With Dr. Lucille Van Alstine

This Biblical Hebrew course covers the Hebrew alphabet and parts of speech. Students will learn to read and pronounce words, names, phrases, Bible verses, and prayers in Hebrew, utilizing both Hebrew script and transliterated examples. They will also learn Hebrew words and phrases frequently used in Jewish culture in the US and Israel today. This class is 12 weeks long. Dr. Lucille Van Alstine is the instructor.
