Introduction to Biblical Hebrew with Dr. Lucille Alstine

This is a basic Biblical Hebrew course. It covers the Hebrew alphabet and parts of speech. Students will learn to read (and write), and pronounce simple words, names, phrases, Bible verses, and prayers in Hebrew utilizing both Hebrew script and transliterated examples. They will also learn Hebrew words and phrases frequently used in Jewish culture in the US and Israel today. This class meets online on Thursdays at 7:30 PM EST, starting March 23rd.
